What gets saved
The form textarea, autosave, Save, print and PDF, preview and the source view now read exactly what getHTMLCode() returns, so editor-only markup no longer reaches the host. Top-level inline text such as H<sub>2</sub>Ono longer saves as “H 2 O”, and documents no longer gain two line breaks per block on every load and save. maxHTMLLength now measures the saved HTML, and an image the sanitizer empties is removed instead of left behind.
Typing and paste
Smart quotes no longer write before an opening quote, and a quote that opens a paragraph, list item or cell now curls. A paste whose HTML flavour is empty falls back to the text instead of inserting nothing. ## typed right after Enter makes a heading, and typing with formatting marks on no longer comes out reversed.
Headings and colours
Heading anchors and the copy-link button now appear after typing, paste and loading content, and headings no longer get placeholder ids while being typed. Recent colours are recorded from every part of the colour picker and shown in a Recent row.
