Special Characters

Insert currency signs, symbols, arrows, maths and Greek letters from a searchable picker.

  • The insertchars button opens a picker grouped by category, with a search box that matches character names.
  • The picker works from the keyboard: arrow keys move through the grid and Enter inserts the character at the caret.
  • Emoji have their own picker (insertemoji); typing : followed by a name suggests them as you type.
